Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cogniroll website (cogniroll.com), the AmmaBhojanam mobile applications, and any related software, products, or services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law to use the Services.

2. Accounts

Some Services require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, providing accurate information, and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

3. About Cogniroll

Cogniroll is a software product studio that designs, builds, and operates digital products, and provides software development, cloud engineering, and AI-integration services. The AmmaBhojanam consumer apps are owned and operated by Cogniroll.

4. The AmmaBhojanam Platform

The AmmaBhojanam apps provide a marketplace connecting customers, home chefs, and delivery partners. Home chefs and delivery partners are independent third parties; Cogniroll is a technology provider and is not the manufacturer or seller of food sold through the platform.

5. Payments, Pricing, Payouts

• Prices are set by home chefs and may include packaging and delivery charges
• Payments are processed by third-party providers (Razorpay)
• Cogniroll deducts a platform fee from each transaction; remaining amounts are paid out to participants
• Earnings are paid out via direct bank transfer, subject to verification and applicable tax deductions

6. Cancellation and Refunds

• Customers may cancel before a chef accepts an order, with a full refund
• Once preparation begins, cancellation may not be possible or may incur charges
• If a chef cancels a confirmed order, the customer receives a full refund
• Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable law or third-party right
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to access the Services without authorization
• Send spam, harassing, or abusive content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Services

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, design, text, and graphics, are owned by Cogniroll and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with third-party providers including Amazon Web Services, Razorpay, Twilio, Apple, and Google. Use of those services is subject to their own terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account by contacting admin@cogniroll.com.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COGNIROLL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ₹1,000.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cogniroll harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
